Kenny Rogers Roasters (Suntec City Mall)
It has been a couple of years since the last time I had Kenny Rogers. Today, I decided to visit the outlet at Suntec City Mall to satisfy my craving for chicken. I have tried other outlets but I feel that the quality of the food seems to be better at the Suntec City Mall outlet. As usual, I ordered a quarter Chicken and for my sides I ordered a Mashed Potato and Macaroni with Cheese. The chicken was just as good and the chicken was well marinated and roasted to perfection, the skin was also very tasty. For the sides, the Mash Potato was smooth and creamy making it a good combination with the gravy. The Macaroni and Cheese was delicious; The doneness of the macaroni was just right and the cheese was very thick and rich, this is one of the better macaroni and cheese I have tasted. Their corn muffins are baked till nice and soft on the inside, you can also find a few corn kernels. Overall, I find that the food is pretty good and they have maintained their quality and standards over the years.

Tony Roma's Singapore
I'm sure that Tony Roma's is not unfamiliar to most of you and many would have tried their food with either family or friends. However, today was the first time my wife and I patronised the restaurant. We find that the ambience is pretty cozy; It's like a family restaurant. Their service staff is also very friendly and attentive. Here's what we have ordered:
- Fish and Fries
The Fish is coated with a layer of bread crumbs and deep fried till it's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I find that the outer crust is a little too thick and they should improve their batter. A few lemon slices can still do the trick of making the dish appetising.
- Rib Combo (Consist of Half Slab of Original Baby Back Ribs with Southwestern Chicken)
The Original Baby Back Ribs is good, it is very tasty and the Ribs are cooked till it's soft and tender. The Ribs are nicely coated with a layer of their Tony Roma's BBQ sauce which is not too sweet. The Southwestern Chicken is also pretty good. The chicken part used is breats meat. The Chicken goes very well with their Salsa sauce which makes it very appetising. The cheese on the chicken also adds more flavour and texture to the dish.
- Corn on the Cob (Side Dishes)
The corn is sweet and juicy, filled with its own natural goodness. You must definitely order this dish if you are a corn lover.
- Mashed Potatoes (Side Dishes)
The Mashed Pototoes are naturally flavoured, the potatoes are mashed in wholes and that is why you can find the potato skin when you are eating the Mashed Potatoes. Bacon and Cheese is also added to give the potatoes more flavour and texture. You can taste the natural flavour of the potato as well as the condiments that enhance the dish.
- Brownie Sundae
The Brownie is warmed till it's nice and soft, giving it that spongy texture. The chocolate ice cream also goes well with the brownie. The sweet taste and cold sensation is heavenly. It sure was a great way to end the meal.
Overall, I find that the food is pretty good and the restaurant is a nice place for gathering with family and friends.

Ipoh Hor Fun
The Fountain Food Terrace at Suntec City is one food court whereby you'll find many stalls and variety to choose from but I would usually order Curry Pork Chop Hor Fun from this Ipoh Hor Fun stall. Instead of using noodles to go with Curry Mee, this stall actually uses hor fun. Surprisingly, the hor fun goes pretty well with the curry. The curry is tasty but I think that the gravy can be thicker. The pork chop is well marinated and it's nice and tender on the inside. The pork chop is one of the better ones I have tasted. Overall, I find that the Curry Pork Chop Hor Fun is pretty good especially for the pork chop. You can give it a try if you are around the area.

Gurney Drive
If you are looking for good Penang food, you have to check out this place called Gurney Drive at Suntec City. They have a wide selection of Penang delicacies. I ordered the famous Penang dishes like the Fried Kway Teow, Hokkien Prawn Noodles and Balacan Fried Chicken Wings. The Fried Kway Teow tastes good. the Kway Teow is very tasty and the ingredients are very fresh. You can find ingredients such as prawns, chinese sausages, cockles, bean sprouts and eggs. As for the Hokkien Prawn Noodles, the soup base is very tasty and has a rich prawny taste that is cooked with pork ribs. The chili sauce is added to make it spicy and it blends well into the soup. You can find ingredients such as kang kong, fish cake, pork ribs, prawns and it's garnished with fried spring onions to make the dish complete. The Belachan Fried Chicken Wings are nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you want to have Penang food but don't want to travel to Malaysia, you can check out this place to satisfy your craving.
